Dakota Business Finance to Present Award to Grimes Chamber & Economic Development
GRIMES, IA.— Dakota Business Finance will attend a meeting of the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development Board of Directors to present a Rural Initiative Community Award for FFY 2023. The Rural Initiative Community Awards is an initiative aimed at giving back to rural communities with a population of less than 50,000.
Grimes Chamber & Economic Development will receive the award on behalf of the community of Grimes, which is being recognized for SBA 504 lean activity. One loan was issued for the Slim Chickens development, in Grimes. The lender of record was AJ DeLange of American Bank & Trust. The award is coupled with a $1,000 check, which will be used to further the organization’s economic development efforts.
Representatives will present the award and the check on Thursday, December 14, 2023, to the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development Board of Directors during their Annual Planning Retreat. The meeting will be held at Destination Grille in Grimes, Iowa, at 10:30 AM.
