REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. Feel free to post your sale information on the Highway 141 Facebook page or the Local Grimes Highway 141 Event Page put on by Grimes Chamber & Economic Development.

***All sales must have been registered by the 30th of July to be on the official map and website.***
August 6th (Friday) and 7th (Saturday) marks the dates for the Annual Highway 141 Garage Sale. The sale route follows Highway 141 across beautiful west central Iowa between Des Moines on the east and Sloan on the west. The entire route is in excess of 177 miles in length. That is 170+ miles of great garage sales, countless bargains, and hidden treasures just waiting to be found.

If you didn't register before the closing date, feel free to still host a sale of your own! Plenty of people will be driving around in hopes of hitting all the sales that Grimes has to offer!

Please look into CDC and IDPH guide lines and consider taking them into account during your sale. Be aware of social distancing procedures and take into consideration some suggestions below:
*having hand sanitizer on hand
*wiping down all items before and after guests stop by
*consider spreading out tables and items so people can look at items with space in between
*encourage 6 ft social distancing guidelines
*consider using cloth face covering when staying at least 6 feet away from others if possible
